Are you delaying your own blessings Are you delaying your own blessings

Are you delaying your own blessings? 😱✝️

2 Timothy 1:7- “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind”

How to apply this Bible Verse to your life today! ✅

Anytime you get doubt or fear in your head either ignore it or acknowledge it’s from the enemy. God does not give us a Spirit of Fear. If you feel fear, worry or doubt that is the enemy trying to get in your head and get you off-course.

Acknowledge it, tell yourself, that’s the enemy I am not going to listen to these thoughts of fear or doubt. Instead rely on what Gods word says about you and the situation you are in. Go and pray to God to remove this Spirit of Fear and pray for the peace that surpasses all understanding God offers us to overcome you.

Always remember God loves you, God has a valuable plan or purpose for you and you should feel confident you are a child of God protected by the Heavenly Kingdom and the enemies mission is to make you doubt all that.

The enemy brings doubt, confusion and fear. God brings peace, clarity and confirmation.

Are you delaying your own blessings? 😱✝️

While this won’t apply to everyone if you are waiting on a blessing from God and it hasn’t come yet ask yourself are you hindering your own blessings?

I am currently in Bible study in Numbers and in that book the Israelites are being led out of Egypt to their promised land by God. They are being led to blessings. Sounds pretty good right? God promises them a promised land and He will even guide them there!

Well God promises to do the same for you. In Jeremiah 29:11 it says “for I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future”.

God is guiding you to your own place of prosperity all you need to do is follow Him.

However, getting back to the Israelite’s, at some stage the Israelite’s stop following Gods instructions, start following their own thoughts and they end up getting lost in the desert for forty years and don’t get to their promised land for forty years.

Do you know why they ended up getting to their promised land? Because God promises in His Word He will be faithful to finish any good work He starts in you until the return of Jesus Christ. God got the Israelite’s to their promised land because God is faithful to His promises.

But the Israelite’s slowed down their blessing, they slowed down receiving their blessings. They could have gotten to their promised land long before they did if they had just done one thing. Lean on Gods understanding instead of their own. Lean on Gods guidance instead of trying to make their own path. Hand control of the situation over to God instead of trying to control it.

So, are you slowing down your blessings today? Are you staying on the path with God or have you gone off track and are walking around in circles wondering where your blessings are?

Stay on path with God. In every situation lean on what His Word says about your situation instead of your own thoughts. Hand your worries and cares over to Him instead of trying to control the outcome of situations. Do the things He asks us to do, turn to Him, pray to Him, get into the Word, stay away from sin and stay away from worldly things.

God wants you to prosper, God wants to guide you there. You just need to stay on the path with Him.
